Nicole is a passionate storyteller and consumer of stories in every form. As a neuro-spicy writer and editor, she vehemently believes audiobooks count as reading and is willing to arm-wrestle anyone who disagrees. Nicole particularly loves helping authors build complex worlds and develop compelling, authentic characters.
As a former ESL teacher and tutor, Nicole has experience analyzing the finer points in writing that are often overlooked. She is also a CFLE (Certified Family Life Educator). This makes her uniquely qualified to edit books depicting complex family systems. Her training allows her to identify the intricate facets of human nature and recognize that everyone has a story to tell.
When not spending time with her husband and five children, she loves to read, bullet journal, and daydream about traveling full-time. Her guilty pleasure is ditching the family to go to the movies all by herself.
Nicole loves fantasy, historical fiction, middle-grade fiction, and YA novels. She also has a soft spot for parenting and personal development books.
Nicole’s favorite books are the Harry Potter series, the Lunar Chronicles, The Countess Below Stairs, and Pride and Prejudice. She has also read Ella Enchanted at least a dozen times.
